For years, the Ennis House has been in a serious state of decay. It was damaged in the 1994 Northridge Earthquake, and the retaining wall failed following the rainstorms of Winter 2004.

Assisted by the expertise of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the LA Conservancy and the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy, The Ennis House Foundation has embarked upon the first phase of the house's needed restoration.
